Disclosure Compliance Rules of the Federal Trade Commission
The Federal Trade Commission issued new disclosure compliance guidelines in 2015.
These guidelines are in place to guarantee that readers and viewers of digital media are informed if a blogger or publisher is sponsored, supported, or affiliated with a third party. Readers want to know if the content publisher profits from sharing a link or product.
Please assume the following regarding links and content on this site, in accordance with FTC guidelines:
Any/all of the links on myamazonshop are affiliate links, which means I get a little commission if you buy something via them.
What Are Affiliate Links and How Do They Work?
Purchases are made on the websites of external affiliate companies: when a reader clicks on an affiliate link on myamazonshop to buy something, the reader buys it straight from the vendor (not from myamazonshop).
Myamazonshop receives a small commission or other revenue from Amazon and/or other firms for bringing customers to their website.
Whether readers purchase through an affiliate link or a non-affiliate link, the prices are the same. The pricing or anything else for the visitor does not change when they click an affiliate link vs a non-affiliate link.
There are two types of affiliate programs used by myamazonshop:
1. Affiliate connections to Amazon.
myamazonshop is a member of the Amazon Services LLC Associates Network, an affiliate advertising program that allows website owners to make money by linking to Amazon.com and connected sites, as well as other websites that may be linked with the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program.
2. Affiliate connections to products.
If you purchase a product after clicking on an affiliate link, I will receive a portion of the transaction or some other kind of revenue.
Prices are the same whether you utilize affiliate links or not. By following the link, you will not be charged any further fees. These aren't "pay per click" links.
What about content that is sponsored?
Sponsored postings are not something I do. I want to provide you accurate, non-biased information. If a firm wishes to publish sponsored material on myamazonshop, I will clearly state this at the start of the piece.
In the end, I only suggest goods that I myself use or would refer to family and friends.
Your purchase helps me continue my study. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, Thank you very much!
